CommentLuv and NoFollow Free
I have added onto this blog a great plug for WordPress. It is call CommentLuv.
Below is the description of this great plug in.
“CommentLuv enables you to reward your blog readers by leaving a titled link to their last post automatically whenever they comment thus encouraging more comments by more people on more posts!
It has been found to increase comments and traffic to blogs and their commentators. It currently runs as a WordPress or Drupal plugin.”
So when ever you see a blog with CommentLuv installed making a comment and having it show your last post from your blog is a great way to get backlinks to your site and to improve your sites rankings in the search engines. I have also removed the dreaded ‘no follow‘ tag from comments which usually prevents the search engines from following those links. Most people who use Commentluv fail to remove that tag and it basically makes Commentluv half as good as it should be.
If you are using Commentluv and want to remove the ‘no follow’ tag do download this easy to use Do Follow plugin available at this site – http://kimmo.suominen.com/sw/dofollow/
So comment away on this post and see if it helps your rankings.
You never know I may visit your site to and add a link :)

Great Post. I really wish that all the bloggers use commentluv. It is a great plugin.
Commentluv makes bloggers to get great traffic for their Comments. Thanks for your details.
Hi
Just added CommentLuv to my site.
Looks like a great way to reward other bloggers for leaving a comment.
Whenever I’ve left a comment on a CommentLuv enabled site, I’ve felt guilty so now I have added the plugin to return the courtesy.
I’ll have to think about removing the nofollow.
.-= Keith Davis´s last blog ..Practice, practice, practice… =-.
I got the “You don’t have permission to access / on this server.” message from http://www.commentluv.com website. Is it just me or what?
.-= Stargone´s last blog ..Kadar Cas Baru Hotlink Youth Club =-.
I use commentluv, do follow and keyword luv and dont have a major issue with spam. I do get lots of great relevant comments though so im not complaining!
.-= Walking Holidays in Europe´s last blog ..New Site! =-.
What you’ve missed is the importance of comment relevance and quality control – the more external links placed on a page the less the search engines care about each one, so one or two links in strategic locations that are relevant and not full of other spam will have a much greater effect than lots of links in random places with a hundred other external links on the same pages.
.-= Seb´s last blog ..Trains – as unreliable as my grandma’s bowel, but less regular =-.
This is a great plugin to tell to your commenter that you appreciate their comments. Thanks for giving us this opportunity to creat a backlink to our site and leave a valuable comment.
In one of your articles you write about web 2.0 marketing. I agree with what you say. Web 2.0 can be very effective in converting your potential leads into customers. However, it is important not to add too much media on your site, because instead of inviting somebody to read your articles, they can potentially leave due to too much flash and slow loading.
Thanks for all your research. Great site!
thanks!…

Good stuff! Thanks for implementing these plug-ins. I had no idea about the CommentLuv one. I’ve been wrestling with implementing the no-follow free plug-in on my blog, but Akismet should act as enough of a deterrent to filter out a majority of the SPAM.
Anyway, thanks again. =)
Ig you are using commentluv for dofollow, it’s may bring alot of comment to your website, butsometimes it’s spam :(
Rare to see a keyword luv page not filled with spam. lol
Maybe they delete any spam posts that get posted on here.
Thanks for the instructions on how to remove nofollow!
You said you may visit the site and add a link. Where do you add the links to?
I wish more people would take advantage of this plugin. Not only does it encourage interaction on your blog, but it also helps boost traffic. Most people worry that it will lead to an increase in spam, but if you have the right plugins activated (like Akismet) there’s not much to be worried about.
