Crafting Digital Marketing

My passion for interactive space comes from working for over ten years in the field of digital marketing. I began my career the Digital Entertainment Network by creating new online entertainment and promotions for companies like Blockbuster, Pepsi, and Ford.

I developed many things during my time working with EZFlix, an interactive division of Landscape Entertainment. Some of the projects that I worked on included internet shows and programs starring the likes of Tracey Ullman, John Lithgow and Hank Azaria.

Joining the digital agency Spacedog in 2001, I moved from Director of Marketing to Co-Owner & Managing Partner, leading Spacedog’s growth strategy into a full-service digital agency, and helping expand the business to 20+ employees, $8M in billings and offices in Los Angeles and NYC.

In 2008, I was integral in negotiating Spacedog’s acquisition by Mendelsohn Zien and Hakuhodo, the 2nd largest advertising holding company in Asia. I then became their Chief Digital Officer, leading the digital marketing strategy for all clients and new business prospects.

Working with clients such as Qantas Airways, Tourism Australia, Carl’s Jr.In my current position I have had the pleasure in overseeing over 100 Digital Marketing media products of all types of digital platforms. I have worked with companies such as Hardee’s, NBC/Universal, Hitachi, Citibank, Sun-Maid Raisins and countless others. I have also been recognized by Yahoo, Creative Summit, OMMA, and the Davey Awards for excellence in digital space.

There are many activities that I enjoy doing to maintain an active presence in my industry. A few things that I have done to maintain that presence are serving as a judge for the Webby’s and Davey awards, speaking at many interactive conferences and being a member of the International Academy of Arts & Sciences. There are always many ways to keep up with all things new in the interactive advertising and Storytelling industry.

Since January 2009 I have been a member of Tool of North America. As the Head of Digital Content, I am now responsible for leading the growth of Tool’s digital business, by working with the creative roster and agency partners to develop interactive live-action content that merges the worlds of technology, art and advertising.
