Many are using WordPress for their secondary blogs. But this also means a few issues that are boring to deal with. That’s where this alternative to WordPress will come in: MyStarterBlog.

What are the issues with WordPress?

You must create a MySQL database

This ould be areal issue for you depending on your skills and your host. Many cheaper hosting package can limit the how many MySQL database you can setup on your domain package. Because MyStarterBlog does not use any online database, this become a non issue. Once you have generated the blog, you only need t uploade those files on your domain. You just need to upload the files to the host if you decide to change hosting company.

With WordPress, you must use a backend

Of course, it’s an advantage but also a security risk. With WordPress, you will need to update your blog often. Since MyStarterBlog does not use a backend, you won’t have that issue. So, you just need to upload 200KB for a generated blog versus 4000KB for your first installation/update of WordPress. When you make a new post, you only need to upload a few files.

SEO optimized is not WordPress strong advantage

By default, WordPress does not use permalinks. The themes that comes with MyStarterBlog are SEO optimized and use worded permailink to save that step to the user.

That’s just the beginning with secondary blogs even if I use Wordpress!
