Isn’t it strange that almost no MLM or network marketing companies have no training on how to market, recruit and build your business using the Internet where there are millions searching every day? They all have websites for you to sign up, do product and company research, order products and promotional items, track your team members, and receive messages but all of the training is on outdated methods.

Do you know that whenever you invite your personal contacts over for a home presentation, you are really trying to SELL to them? People usually do not like to be SOLD to. They would rather buy stuff when it is their idea. If it is a friend you are trying to sell to, they will know that it is a new business for you and wonder what you will make off of them.

There is not one thing that people spend their money on that you cannot attribute to these two reasons. One is to gain pleasure and the other is to avoid pain. Lots of things fall into both categories but everything fits into at least one.

You want to avoid the pain of sleeping outside in the weather so you buy or rent a house or apartment. you need a car for transportation or want one because you like it so you buy it. You but TV’s and movies, stereos and CD’s, clothes and shoes all for the same reasons.

Even food is bought for these reasons. If you are starving and low on money, you will buy inexpensive food to avoid the pain of being hungry. You will go out to a restaurant for the pleasure of eating out. Impulse buying fits in too, you want to avoid the pain of searching later or paying more elsewhere.

When a door-to-door salesman comes to your door, do you open the door with cash in hand and buy whatever he has? You probably feel as most people do and hate it. But if you go to your friends and family, and every other personal contact you have, you are doing the same thing. When you think about how it feels you realize that this repels people.

What about telemarketers? Most people use their caller ID and don’t even answer the phone these days. When you go online and buy those resold leads lists, that they swear are fresh, and you start calling these people up, you are now telemarketing. This is repellent

Have you ever been walking down the street or in the mall and had someone approach you to try to sell something to you? I’m sure you buy all the time like this. LOL If you are looking to turn every conversation you have with everyone you meet, during the course of a day, into your business pitch, you are acting the same way as these street hawkers. Repellent!

So, how are you supposed to build a home based business without using any if these methods? Easy, just understand that any business relies on sales and that will not happen without marketing. If you want to build an MLM or network marketing business, all you have to do is get some proper marketing training.  

Using the laws of attraction marketing and proper training with tools like the Internet and a funded proposal and sites that automate your work, you can not only reach your goals but you can have fun getting there. Not to mention the added benefit of teaching others how to succeed in business thereby gaining respect and a following of people who look up to you and value you. This is attraction marketing.  

A funded proposal  simply explained is a vehicle or a system for you to earn an income while you build your primary MLM or network marketing business. The way this is done is that you would have a system that utilizes certain tools and services online that make your job easier or automated. These tools or systems would be affiliate programs for you and you would share them with your prospects so their jobs will be easier. When they take advantage of that value, you will make a small commission. This is attraction marketing.  

If you learn how to position yourself online where people who are searching for answers and solutions and business opportunities can find you, that is a skill in itself that you can teach others. If you invest in yourself and become a student of your industry, you will have lots of knowledge you can share and others will value their relationship with you and this will attract more people to you. Attraction marketing.  

Write your valuable content into articles and post them to directories, blogs, social sites and other places and others will value this and start following you. One thing people notice is when they see many others following someone. This is attraction marketing at it’s best.

There will be no success in your business if you cannot teach others how to reach their goals. This industry is dependent on your ability to teach others how to succeed. This concept takes all doubt away from the fact that this is a fulfilling and rewarding , not to mention honorable, industry.

The attraction marketing principle is really an attitude and a concept that must be present in every aspect of your business. I do not believe the old school methods that lead to repellent marketing will have much of a future with today’s market. Anyone who does not learn attraction marketing will fall to the wayside the same way that the horse and carriage did.
